Video Seek

Refund Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Video Seek's paid features, including video processing, embedding services, advanced video analysis, and other paid functionality.

Our goal is to provide a clear and fair process for handling refund requests.

This Policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws and the terms presented at checkout. Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory statutory right to a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other remedy.

2. Payment Processing

Payments made through our website are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for applicable transactions.

Paddle handles refunds for transactions processed through its platform. We do not independently issue a separate payment for a Paddle transaction.

To request a refund, use the refund or support link in your transaction confirmation email or visit:

https://paddle.net

You may also contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

3. When You May Request a Refund

You may submit a refund request in circumstances including:

  • You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
  • A payment was processed without your authorization.
  • A material technical failure prevented you from accessing a paid feature you purchased.
  • The Service materially differed from its description at the time of purchase.
  • You are entitled to a refund, cancellation, or withdrawal under applicable law.
  • Other circumstances in which a refund is available under Paddle's applicable refund policy or the terms presented at checkout.

We will review relevant information and cooperate with the applicable payment provider to resolve the request.

4. Usage-Based Services and Processing Costs

Some features may consume processing resources when a video is uploaded, indexed, transcribed, embedded, or analyzed.

Where a purchase or service usage has already been completed, the amount of processing performed may be considered when assessing a discretionary refund, subject to applicable law.

We will not rely on this provision to deny a refund or remedy that you are legally entitled to receive.

If a technical failure prevents the purchased service from being delivered, we may investigate the failure and, as appropriate, restore the relevant usage balance, arrange a replacement service, or request a refund through the payment provider.

5. Statutory Consumer Rights

Refund and withdrawal rights vary by country and transaction type.

For example, eligible consumers in certain jurisdictions may have statutory withdrawal rights for digital services or digital content, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

Where the law provides a mandatory refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or remedy, that right takes precedence over any conflicting provision in this Policy.

If you believe you are entitled to a statutory remedy, please identify your country or region and the relevant transaction when submitting your request.

6. Refund Review and Processing

Refund requests are reviewed according to the applicable payment provider's procedures, the circumstances of the transaction, and applicable law.

We or the payment provider may request reasonable information needed to identify the transaction or investigate the issue.

If a refund is approved, it will generally be processed using the original payment method where possible. The time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider and your financial institution.

Any legally required refund deadline will apply.

7. Duplicate Payments and Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us or submit a request through Paddle.

Include the transaction reference, purchase date, and a description of the issue. Do not send your full payment card number or security code.

We will investigate billing errors and coordinate any necessary correction or refund through the appropriate payment channel.

8. Effect of a Refund

Where a refund is granted for a paid feature, we may reverse the associated usage credits or restrict access to the refunded feature, to the extent permitted by applicable law and consistent with the nature of the refund.

A refund does not affect any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
