Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Video Seek ("Vdoseek"), including our website, video search and retrieval features, AI-powered analysis, and related services.
The Service is operated by Huang Junqiao ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Video Seek helps users locate relevant moments in videos based on natural-language questions. Depending on the features available, the Service may process uploaded video files or videos obtained from user-provided URLs, extract transcripts, generate searchable representations, and use artificial intelligence to identify relevant video segments.
Features, usage limits, processing times, and pricing may change as the Service develops. We will communicate material changes where required by applicable law.
The Service provides automated search results and AI-generated outputs. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or irrelevant and should not be treated as guaranteed factual conclusions.
3. Accounts and Security
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your account, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activities conducted through your account, except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise or the activities result from our failure to meet our legal obligations.
We may suspend or restrict accounts reasonably suspected of fraud, unauthorized access, abuse, security threats, or violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
4. User Content and Permissions
"User Content" means videos, URLs, transcripts, questions, and other materials you submit to or generate through the Service.
You retain your ownership rights in User Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, limited license to host, reproduce, transmit, analyze, transform, and otherwise process User Content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service, comply with legal obligations, and enforce these Terms.
This license lasts only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purposes, subject to applicable law, legitimate backup requirements, and any retention terms disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful authority necessary to submit User Content and authorize its processing under these Terms.
You must not submit content in a manner that violates another person's copyright, privacy, publicity rights, confidentiality obligations, or other legal rights.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws.
- Upload, retrieve, or process content that you are not authorized to use.
- Circumvent access controls, authentication, technical restrictions, or lawful access limitations imposed by third-party platforms.
- Use the Service to infringe intellectual property rights or violate another person's privacy.
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the Service.
- Conduct unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering, or automated access that exceeds permitted use, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Use the Service to distribute malware, facilitate fraud, or engage in abusive activity.
We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including restricting access or terminating accounts where appropriate.
6. Third-Party Content and Services
The Service may process content hosted by third parties and rely on third-party infrastructure, payment providers, cloud storage, video retrieval tools, and AI model providers.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party content complies with applicable laws and the relevant platform's terms.
We do not own or control third-party videos and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, continued accessibility, or the conduct of their publishers.
Third-party services may impose technical limitations or become unavailable. We will address material service issues in accordance with applicable law and our obligations to users.
7. Pricing and Payments
Certain features require payment. Current prices, usage limits, and applicable charges will be displayed on the relevant pricing, billing, or checkout page before you purchase.
Charges may depend on the feature used, including video processing, embedding, or advanced video analysis. You are responsible for charges clearly disclosed and authorized in accordance with applicable law.
Our payment process is conducted by Paddle.com, which acts as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for transactions processed through Paddle. Paddle handles the relevant payment transaction, including applicable payment processing, invoicing, and tax collection responsibilities.
Payment and transaction-related information is also subject to Paddle's applicable buyer terms and privacy notice.
Unless expressly stated at checkout, a purchase does not create a recurring subscription. If recurring billing is introduced, the applicable billing frequency, renewal terms, price, and cancellation method will be disclosed before you commit.
8. Refunds
Refund requests are subject to our Refund Policy, the applicable terms presented during checkout, and mandatory consumer protection laws.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right to a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Refunds for transactions processed through Paddle must be handled through the applicable Paddle refund process. Please refer to our Refund Policy for instructions.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and original materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by us, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.
10. Service Availability and Disclaimers
We will use reasonable efforts to maintain the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every video can be retrieved, processed, or searched successfully.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We disclaim implied warranties only to the extent such disclaimers are legally permitted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory statutory warranties or remedies that apply to consumers.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any liability that applicable law requires to remain unlimited.
Nothing in this section limits your mandatory consumer rights.
12. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access where reasonably necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service.
Where required by law, we will provide notice, an opportunity to remedy the breach, or other applicable protections.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before termination. Data handling after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business operations.
We will provide notice of material changes where required by law. Changes will take effect on the date stated in the updated Terms, subject to any required notice or consent.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of mandatory rights to bring claims before a competent court or to use applicable dispute resolution mechanisms.
If you have a dispute regarding the Service, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve it informally.
